Remarks by Spokesperson of Chinese Embassy in Estonia on the China-Related Contents of “International Security and Estonia 2022” Released by the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service
2022-02-16 00:00

Recently, the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service released its annual report titled “International Security and Estonia 2022”. Being full of subjective assumptions, cold war mentality and ideological prejudice, its contents concerning China has no factual basis at all. It maliciously speculates on China's goodwill and is completely irresponsible. Chinese side is strongly dissatisfied with and firmly opposed to this move.

China is committed to developing relations with other countries on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit and non-interference in each other’s internal affairs. China has always respected concerns and interests of Estonia and strived to maintain the overall bilateral relations so as to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples. China welcomes all constructive comments and well-meaning criticism, but will never accept malicious attacks and distorted smears out of nothing. We urge the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service to view China objectively and impartially, stop spreading false information and undermining China-Estonia relations.
