News: On 13 November, Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan submitted to UN Secretary-General China's Instrument of Accession to the International Convention on the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings

On nov 13, Chinese Foreign Minister handed to the UN Secretary-General China's instrement of accession to the International Convention on the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings, at the Headquarter of the United Nations in New York.  The convention will take effect in China 30 days later.  Also on 13 November, Mr. Tang also signed, on behalf of the government of the People's Republic of China, the International Convention on the Suppression of  Financing Terrorism.  With this, China has joined all 11 out of the 12 international conventions against terrorism.  It has fully demonstrated the importance China has attached to the strengthening of international cooperation on anti-terrorism
