Q: The flooding in Pakistan is still severe. What further assistance will China provide?

A: In order to express the goodwill and friendship of the Chinese Government and people toward the Pakistani Government and people, the Chinese Government has decided to provide to the Pakistani Government an additional RMB 60 million in humanitarian assistance which mainly includes tents and food, with a view to helping the Pakistani people to overcome the disaster.

In addition, the materials in urgent need of Pakistan such as tents, generators and dredging equipment provided by the Chinese People's Liberation Army will be delivered to the Pakistani capital Islamabad today.
